So, I decided to start a blog to let everyone in the states keep up to date with my travels and adventures in Russia. I know I don’t leave for another two months, but I’m sure you would all like to hear about the production of Next to Normal I am in and the dance belt I purchased for ballet class in Russia.
Being home this summer is amazing. I’ve missed the Midwest way of life and the people here. The cast of N2N is phenomenal, like crazy good. Rehearsals are moving pretty fast and I constantly feel in over my head but, I have no doubts that this show is going to be one of the most amazing productions I will ever be a part of. You need to see this show!
The number one thingy on my “sight seeing to do list” while in Moscow is to attend a show at the Moscow Cat Theatre. Cats. Dancing. 120 cats! CATS! I hope there is another student on this trip who likes cats performing the nutcracker too.
Oh, if you know of any restaurants or sights to see while I am in Moscow please do not hesitate to post them on here!
Well, I know this wasn’t the longest or most interesting first blog but, if you trust me I promise they will get better!
Ps my book of the week is Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy…wish me luck
